Convent of Santa Rosa de Viterbo

The old Covent of Santa Rosa de Viterbo reopens with its new lighting for the first time in the city of Santiago in the Mexico’s state of Queretaro.

Warm White LedFloodStrip®II HP, which comes in 50 cm and 25 cm by MCI Group, were installed to exalt the beauty of this historical monument, which is one of the best preserved monuments within the city and an important model of Baroque Art in America.

LedFloodStrip® II is an outdoor and indoor linear light designed to create an ornamental lighting effect. It is mainly distinguished by its compact size, low power consumption and easy mounting.

The light consists of a anodised aluminium central part and a polycarbonate transparent diffuser. Its end profiles are sealed in order to provide a IP66 protection rating. The lights merge through male-female connections, lighting up continually and uniformly.

New details have been incorporated in LedFloodstrip® II, LedFloodstrip® I’s next step, such as Plug&Play (IPP66) plugs and the new aluminium profile, allowing for rotating 180º top. Lights perfectly conform to each project’s architectural needs and provide a wide variety of models and power (up to 23 W/m).

Finally, the whole fountain’s perimeter is lit with warm white SmarLedFlex®, providing high-performance light uniformity. It can be placed in curvilinear and hard-to-access areas thanks to its flexibility. Light is produced with silicone elastomer that provides high UV protection and IP66 protection rating.
