In 2015, Duravit enjoyed a double-digital growth and is making major investments

Duravit Group remains on the path of success. In this ISH’s year, the eleven novelties have had a significant impact on an international scale. At the same time, Duravit Group is investing in factories and new technologies both in Germany and elsewhere. Thus, the manufacturer is creating a sound foundation for the future. 

In 2015, Duravit exceeded for the first time its sales volume, reaching a net income figure of 432.3 million euros. The company has grown 10.7% compared to the previous year.

It is because of its 5,804 employees around the world that the Company could achieve this significant success.

Its increase is due to the international market; for instance: the US, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Spain, as well as North African countries and China. However, 2015 was a very successful year for the German domestic market. Regarding business ventures, Duravit has reached, once again, a substantial increase, slipping from its competition within the important markets.

In 2015, product novelties and existing series have evolved, especially the ranges of high and average price designs. The same can be said regarding baths, shower trays as well as divers SensoWash® wash systems. 

All eleven production sites around the world are overloaded. Consequently, Duravit reacted by investing in both a new factory in China in addition to its current factores. For instance, a new die casting facility has been added to the Hornberg and Meissen’s sites, among other technological novelties.  This investment allows Duravit to create good conditions in order to fully achieve evolution in the coming years.
